Dr. Teddy L. Thompson, MD

Dr. Thompson was raised in Bloomington, MN.  He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota and graduated from St. Louis University School of Medicine.  He completed his Family Practice Residency with the University of Minnesota Fairview & St. Mary’s Hospital

Jill Westphal, MAC,ICS,CSAC, Executive Director

Jill brings a wealth of knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment to AMS. She graduated from Lakeland University with a Master’s in Counseling and has been involved in a variety of modalities of treatment including residential, IOP, aftercare, and OTS. “I believe everyone deserves a quality of life that they can reflect on and own as their story. Whatever I can do to assist with that process is my passion.”

Pam Quezaire, MSE, ICS, CSAC, Clinical Supervisor

Pam Quezaire has over 25 years of experience in the field of addiction as a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. She obtained her under graduate degree in Criminal Justice at UW-Oshkosh and her Master’s Degree from UW- Platteville in AODA/Mental Health. Pam has worked in various levels of care  including medically monitored hospital based outpatient, residential and corrections. Her most recent experience was with Opioid Treatment Services.

James Reider, AAS,CSAC, Counselor

James was born and raised in the Fox Valley area. After experiencing a curtailment of operations at a former paper manufacturer, he attended Fox Valley Technical College and graduated with a degree in Substance Abuse Counseling. James experience includes firefighting, emergency medical services, military service with the USMC and Army National Guard. He also has been involved in coaching and volunteer work in the local school districts. James continues to carry his passion for helping the community into his counseling career

Kay Christianson, AAS,CSAC, Counselor

Kay is a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. She received her degree in Substance Abuse Counseling from Fox Valley Technical College in 2002. Her vast experience in the field includes inpatient, outpatient and dual-diagnosis treatment programs. Kay has eight years of experience specifically working in Medication-Assisted Treatment

William Wojcik, Counselor, CSAC

After a 20 year career as a machinist, William has been actively practicing substance abuse counseling since 2011 finish school and graduated with an associate’s degree in applied science as AODA counselor (alcohol and other drug counseling.)  His  internship was at a OTS treatment clinic as he began his career as a counselor/case manager with Ryan Community Incorporated which is a halfway house forward DOC clients only.  William worked as an AODA counselor in the private sector for all area counseling, a division of options treatment program until contract ran out.  He then returned to OTS treatment and the team of AMS of Wisconsin. 

Shari Schroeder, Counselor, SAC-IT

Shari has  attained the Substance Abuse Counselor-IT license and I will graduate in May of 2017 from Fox Valley Technical College. She conducted her internship at Theda Care Behavioral Health in Menasha were she received training in Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Continuing Care, Relapse Prevention and Family Systems.  Before this career objective, she worked in Customer Service for 34 years. Shari claims to have a niche for altruism as looks forward to being a part of her patients journey along the road to recovery.

Patrick Carlson, SAC-IT, Counselor

Patrick obtained his Substance Abuse Counseling-IT license and attended Fox Valley Technical College where graduated with a degree in Substance Abuse Counseling. He did his internship at the University of Oshkosh Wisconsin Counseling Center. Patrick enjoys the outdoors as well as coaching our youth football in Oshkosh

Sara Utecht, RN, Nursing Supervisor

Sara Utecht, Nursing SupervisorSara graduated in 2008 from Maranatha Baptist University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management. After losing a close family member to cancer, she decided to change career paths and go back to school for nursing. Sara graduated with her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2014. She looks forward to helping patients achieve a healthy lifestyle.

Theresa Schwalbach, RN, Dispensing Nurse

Theresa graduated in 2013 with an Associate Degree in Nursing and has over 10 years of Healthcare experience in various settings. Her most recent experience was serving clients in the Department of Corrections. Theresa looks forward to continuing her journey in nursing and educating patients along the way.

Lindsey Schmandt, RN, Dispensing Nurse

 

Lindsey attended UW-Stevens Point to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Social Work. While in college I worked in the ER department at a local hospital which began my curiosity into the nursing field and later lead to my passion of becoming a registered nurse. She obtained an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from FVTC- Appleton in 2012. She has enjoyed working in the healthcare field for the past 11 years in various settings to include Emergency Care, Physician Services, Women’s Health/Obstetrics, Geriatric Care, and Mental Health.

 

Emilie Jansen, RN, Dispensing Nurse

Emilie graduated in 2013 from Marian University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She has experience with working on a psychiatric unit and most recently working on a pediatric floor. She looks forward to helping those with a history of addiction and expanding her knowledge in another modality of the nursing field.

Brandy Seelow, Receptionist

Brandy has over 20 years of office experience with 5 in the medical field.  She enjoys working with people and has a strong commitment to customer service and insurance processing.  Brandy’s organizational skills and her ability to work with technology make her a valued member of the team. She is committed to treating all patients with dignity and respect.

Richard Ruby, BA,CCS,ICS,CAP,CADC,CSAC, Director of Operations

Richard has over fourteen years’ experience in the substance abuse counseling field, specifically medication assisted treatment.  He is a veteran of the Armed Forces with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from West Chester University, PA.  He has achieved the internationally recognized Certified Clinical Supervisor credential in addition to the Certified Drug and Alcohol Certification.  Richard is holding the Independent Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor Credential in the state of Wisconsin in conjunction with achievement of the Certified Addiction Professional credential in the state of Florida.

 He was once a construction worker turned security guard who started in addiction field as a counselor’s assistant.  With hard work, drive and determination; he transitioned from the respective roles of assistant counselor,counselor, clinical supervisor, Executive/Clinical Director which has now transitioned to assume the role of National Operations Coordinator and Risk Management Officer for the parent company; Addiction Medical Solutions, LLC.  He understands the disease concept of addiction having experienced and suffered from a history of addiction. Richard is a proud father of three who has been with AMS of Delaware since the program was developed in 2011 and instrumental in the start up Operations in Wisconsin and Florida.  This clinical professional turned administrator believes in the therapeutic nature of counseling, disease concept of addiction and medication assisted treatment services.  Richard’s philosophy regarding addiction treatment services models harm reduction

Chad Redman, MS, ICS, CSAC, Corporate Compliance

Chad Redman is Corporate Compliance Officer for AMS. He has overall responsibility for the Company's corporate compliance programs. He specializes in compliance, performance improvement, licensing and regulatory guidelines, CARF preparation, case management, clinical guidelines, quality management, strategic planning and business development.

Chad has been with AMS since 2013. Prior to joining AMS he has served in a number of leadership positions. Chad's most recent positions include director, Clinical Supervisor, Drug court coordinator, surveyor, therapist and employee assistance.   He holds a bachelor's degree in criminology and a master's degree in counseling
